Fresh and refreshing cilantro lime crema that is  higher in protein and low fat. Serve drizzled on fish or veggie tacos or use as a light, zesty dressing for Mexican taco salad.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup 2% Greek yogurt (can easily be swapped for fat free or full fat if desired)

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (about one lime)

1 tablespoon finely chopped cilantro

Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients together in a small bowl
  2. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 mins before serving to allow all flavors to fully meld
  3. Serve drizzled over tacos, taquitos, salad or Mexican inspired meat and fish dishes
