Heavenly Hunks Dark Chocolate Oatmeal Recipe

A healthier, higher protein copycat recipe of the delicious dark chocolate oatmeal squares we all know and love. 

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats

25 grams vanilla protein powder (about one scoop)

1/3 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

1/3 cup maple syrup

6 tablespoons melted coconut oil

2 tablespoons almond butter

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients
  2. Line a 9" x 5" loaf pan with parchment paper
  3. Pour the Heavenly Hunks mixture into the loaf pan and press down firmly until compacted
  4. Place in freezer for one hour 
  5. Remove from freezer and let soften for 15 minutes. cut into small square shapes
  6. Store in refrigerator for up to two weeks or freezer for up to one month
